Mr. Byerley has been teaching History for 19 years! He started at Coatesville HS before joining WFCS in 2015. He is a Star Wars and Music buff that not only teaches American History, Civics, Geography, and High School European History, but is also the first face you see in the morning and the last face you see in the afternoon as he leads Safety Patrol.

Mr. Byerley graduated from Lock Haven University with a degree in History and went to West Chester University for his teaching certification.  He previously taught in the Coatesville Area School District for 12 years.

“In my free time, I participate in Civil War reenactments, raise a vegetable garden, enjoy reading and being in the outdoors with my family.”
