Inclement Weather

Delays and closings will be posted on our website (www.wfcs.org), Facebook, Instagram, Remind, and email. This information will be broadcast on local television and radio stations as well (WPVI – channel 6; WGAL – channel 8; WCAU – channel 10; WDAC – 94.5). You will need to listen for the status of both West Fallowfield and your district of residence. Buses will run according to your district’s schedule and NOT on the WFCS schedule. Carpooling parents should bring their children to school at West Fallowfield’s start time.

The following are the possible scenarios that could affect busing to and from WFCS:

• If your district of residence is closed due to weather, there is NO BUSING for WFCS
• If your district of residence has an early dismissal, the buses will pick up WFCS students early
• If your district of residence has a late opening, the buses drop off WFCS students late

If your district is closed and West Fallowfield is in session, please rely on your best judgment as to whether you can safely transport your children to school. Students are not counted absent if their district is closed and you decide to keep your children home. Parents will be notified by phone, if indicated on your emergency form, when we have an early dismissal. If we are unable to reach parents for our early dismissal, we will not send younger children home on the bus to a house which may be empty. Feel free to contact us should you have any questions.
