Service Points

WFCS exists and continues to thrive because of our patron families. Your involvement in the life of WFCS is one of the most important influences in maintaining an excellent and affordable patron-run school. This cannot be accomplished by just a few people. In an effort to give all of our patrons an avenue to become involved, the Service Committee has designed a minimum number of required volunteer hours for each patron family. Points may be earned by serving on a committee, assisting in the classroom, participating in our fundraising efforts, and more! Keep an eye out for service point opportunities throughout the year!

Each family is required to earn 40 service points every school year.

Generally, 1 hour of service = 1 service point!

Families that are only required to earn 25 service points every school year include the following:

    • First year patrons

    • Single parent family

    • Patrons with a PS, PK, or K student only

    • Full-time teacher with 1 or more students enrolled
