I am always so grateful that God led us to WFCS but it is mornings like “Worship Wednesday” that I have to pinch myself to make sure this is reality, that my child actually gets to attend a school that speaks Truth each and every day to her, and that she is surrounded by such gracious, loving and caring teachers and friends that care for her, are concerned for her, and show her God’s love each day. And then the fact that it does not stop there, but that she is then surrounded by a village of her friend’s moms that she can trust and that also show her God’s love, care for her, and invest in her life – that is all just an extra special bonus!
I am so thankful and grateful for this school that welcomed our family so seamlessly and for all of the kindness that is continuously shown to us.
Switching our family from another local Christian school to West Fallowfield felt like a leap of faith for us. Our oldest was already mostly through the elementary years and I was hesitant to dig up those roots and replant. By the end of the first week, we were convinced this was where we should be and we haven’t looked back ever since! For me it’s been a community! For my kids West Fallowfield has been a place to get a high-quality education, discover and grow their gifts, practice leadership and, most importantly, deepen their relationship with God. There are so many things we love about West Fallowfield. The teachers are truly amazing! Not just qualified and good at what they do, but they care about their students and know them well. I also love the unique opportunity the grades get to interact together. This fosters leadership and teaches my kids how to reach out to others who aren’t their age. West Fallowfield has played a huge role in the formation of our family and I’m extremely grateful God led us here.
We chose WFCS because, first of all, we wanted our kids to have a Christian education. WFCS has caring teachers and small classes, and we really appreciate that. My husband, Darren, attended Kindergarten at WFCS, before his family moved. I attended WFCS Kindergarten through 8th grade and I really loved my years there. It’s small enough that you get to know all the parents and kids. It’s like a family environment. Over the years, my kids have done a mix of homeschool and school at WFCS. WFCS has been wonderful at allowing our kids to participate in gym or art classes during homeschooling years. Our kids loved their years at WFCS and they all are still friends with and get together with their friends from WFCS.
Our two oldest boys both were a part of the original high school at WFCS, The Academy. The oldest went all 4 years of high school and really enjoyed it. He said the teachers were great and he had a close group of friends.
During our time at WFCS our children were held to high academic standards, challenged to grow spiritually, and were presented with a solid Christian world-view.
Teachers and staff walk out daily the motto of faith-home-school, coming alongside parents and the church to teach and lead our children. Parental involvement in various areas is encouraged! The small classroom sizes allows for a caring and nurturing environment.
In our 15 years as patrons, WFCS became our second family. Friendships our boys formed in the elementary years are still strong today. As a bonus, we as parents formed deep connections with fellow patrons. The environment created by caring teachers who deeply valued our children allowed them to grow and thrive.
As Psalm 79:13 says,
So we Your people and the sheep of Your pasture
Will give thanks to You forever;
To all generations we will tell of Your praise.
WFCS is a very special and unique place. We are grateful for the rich legacy that is West Fallowfield Christian School!
When asked, “Why choose West Fallowfield Christian School?,” we feel like words cannot do all of the reasons full justice. Talking about our school almost always triggers an emotional response, but in the best possible way. Ironically, the first person who told us about WFCS was also emotional when describing it. Her powerful testimony is precisely what led us to schedule a tour and I am so thankful that we did!
Each and every day we are comforted by knowing full well that our children are loved, supported and guided by the teachers and staff here. We know that high standards are held with grace and compassion. We never have to question how things are going to be handled or how problems are going to be solved, because God is at the center of it all. Our children are happy, cared for and thriving in this environment, which means the absolute world to us. We are so very grateful for the blessing of this school and all of the people in it!
This place is special. I struggle to put into words just how much West Fallowfield Christian School means to our family. It may be a school full of children, with all the chaos and busyness that comes with that, but when I come through the doors, I feel peace. I feel God’s presence. I feel the love and care that each teacher and staff member has and gives to my children day in and day out. I feel so, so incredibly blessed that our children have been able to attend here.
Our oldest having attended from Kindergarten through 8th grade, and now attending public school, I can attest to the academic excellence at West Fallowfield. They do it all with excellence – spiritual and academics. The curriculum is extensive and challenging. They have more than adequately prepared my children for future academic success. And they have been an invaluable partner in raising our children with a biblical worldview.
If you want your children to feel safe, loved, known by name, make long lasting friendships…… this is where they belong. The smaller, intimate class sizes give children more one on one time with teachers and the ability to be seen, not lost or invisible, as can be the case in larger groups. Teachers here encourage love, independence and shining that special light that God has given you. WFCS is a unique school. It’s a place where no matter how long it’s been since you’ve been gone, when you return, you are family again. My children are in college now. They started in first grade and went through The Academy to graduate. To this day, they still have a special bond with their WFCS classmates. It’s like they’ve never been apart. From a parent’s perspective, this is what makes this school so different from all the rest. You can be “educated” anywhere, but here, you get a full and lasting package.
