Mrs. Wendt has been serving at WFCS as an Art teacher since 2019. She grew up in Lancaster County and holds a degree from Tyler School of Art, Temple University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in art education and jewelry/metalsmithing. She has worked in many different jobs in the art field including as a jewelry designer, a graphic designer and teacher at Harrisburg Area Community College.

She loves her job because she can introduce art lessons with Biblical themes as well as encourage students to make art as a form of worship. She believes each child is designed with the desire to create, which is an amazing imprint of our Creator.

She and her husband have two children and attend Lancaster Brethren in Christ Church in Lancaster.
