I grew up in rural, southwestern New York State on a dairy farm.  My teaching degree was completed at Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, VA. and I completed nursing school at St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in Lancaster, PA.  Teaching experiences include Linville Hill Mennonite where I taught 6th grade and PE/athletics, West Fallowfield teaching social studies, civics, geography and PE/health from 1985-1989, and 2 years at Elizabethtown Area High School as school nurse. For 6 years, I worked in health care at local hospitals. I returned to West Fallowfield in 1998 and have been teaching PE, health, sports, drama and cooking electives, and directing the athletic programs.
