About Us PDF Print E-mail

ImageWest Fallowfield Christian School was established in 1941 to partner with Christian families in educating and nurturing their children.  For 69 years, we have been providing a strong academic and spiritual foundation for children in kindergarten through eighth grades. Our current student body is comprised of approximately 160 students representing over 44 area churches of various denominations.

Kindergarten is offered as a full day, three or five days per week.  The classes are small in size to provide individual attention.  Our Kindergarten program enables each child to grow spiritually as they gain knowledge in Mathematics, Reading Readiness, Language Arts, Handwriting, Science, Art, Music, Drama, Physical Education, Computer, Devotions, Bible, Chapel and Library and a Kindergarten Cafe.  Both the three and five day programs provide a strong foundation for the academic experience of school.  Five-day students benefit from additional specials, enrichment and review of the completed material.  The Kindergarten class has daily recess and a rest time.  Kindergarten students must be five years of age by September 1st.

The Pre-Kindergarten class will begin in the Fall of 2010.  Class will be held Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am - 11:45 am.  Children must be four years of age by September 1st.   They must also be potty trained.  The Pre-Kindergarten curriculum includes Reading Readiness, Math Skills, Language Arts, Pre-Handwriting, Hands-on Science, Bible, Chapel, Library, Art, Music and Physical Education.  There is a recess and snack time each day as well.

Elementary students' curriculum includes Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, Spelling, Bible, Grammar, Music, Art, Physical Education, Computer Class (beginning in 4th grade) and Health.  Instrumental lessons begin at the fourth grade level, and piano is offered to students in grades 2-8.
